Last night, Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah brought the heat at the 2016 American Music Awards. They made us laugh and cry at the same time, and we loved it!

The night began with Gigi’s surprising impression of Melania Trump. If you missed it, just know that it would have given you goosebumps.
But the 2016 American Music Awards delivered so much more than 2 awesome hosts. Below are the 4 biggest moments that will leave everyone counting down to next year’s show:
1. ‘Good for You,’ Selena Gomez

Selena stepped out of the spotlight to focus on her mental health recently, and this was the perfect way to return to the stage. She slayed the audience with her uplifting acceptance speech on self love and tolerance. Watch it below.

It’s so obvious that Gigi is a true star. However, who knew she was so hilarious? Aside from her awesome First-Lady impression (see below), Gigi nailed every joke throughout the night.

Zayn proved he has his own ‘direction’ during his acceptance speech for Best New Artist. The ‘Pillowtalk’ powerhouse jabbed his former band mates when he said, “Wow. This just has my name on it, right?”
Ouch.
4. Drake is MVP

Drake took home 4 awards for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album, Rap/Hip-Hop Song, Soul/R&B Song, and Rap/Hip-Hop Artist. Then he really shocked us when the Apple Music commercial dropped, featuring a jamming session to Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood.’
Well played, Drake.
