Star Wars Celebration 2016 dropped a huge announcement today: Alden Ehrenreich is the new Han Solo!

Who is Alden Ehrenreich?
Steven Spielberg discovered Ehrenreich when he was 14-years-old. Two years later, Ehrenreich made his first television appearance on Supernatural as Ben Collins in the ‘Wendigo’ episode.

Ehrenreich’s major film debut, however, happened in 2009 when he played Bennie in Tetro (do you see a pattern here with he name Ben?). Although his performance was astounding, many fans remember Ehrenreich most in the movie Beautiful Creatures where he swept hearts away as Ethan Wate, a loyal boyfriend who gets wrapped up in Wiccan society.

In his most recent role, Ehrenreich impressed fans and critics by playing a terrible actor in the film, Hail, Caesar!, from the Coen brothers.
